'RESTING BALLET SHOES'
To paint this dot mandala I've been inspired by a 7 year old young lady who loves ballet, pink and red. Her talking about ballet so enthusiastically put a vivid image into my head: a silhouette of ballet shoes surrounded by a dot mandala, all in pink. And to top it all I decided that the ballet shoes would glow in the dark.
It was really a pleasure to dot-paint such a wonderful subject with so much meaning behind it. When you look at the painting you can see and feel the joy and energy of a little girl combined with the passion for dancing and ballet.
This dot mandala would be a great asset to any home with children.
